Charitable meat program

Help in providing meat to those in need around the year.

This program differs from the Sacrificial Meat Program, as it aims to provide frozen meat year-round and distribute it to eligible beneficiaries of the Egyptian Food Bank at a price that aligns with the financial capabilities of different groups in need.

The cost of a charitable meat voucher is 1200 EGP, and each voucher provides 3 kg of imported meat from India and Brazil which The Egyptian Food Bank imports in large quantities to secure higher discounts, in addition to the already lower price of imported meat compared to local (baladi) meat.

However, donors cannot purchase the voucher and take the meat for personal distribution—all distributed meat must go to the Egyptian Food Bank's beneficiaries.
