A Decent Life for all Egyptian Mothers
This program is dedicated to alleviating the hardships faced by breadwinning mothers as they strive to provide their children with life’s essentials while safeguarding their well-being. Through comprehensive assistance, the program offers monthly food aid and essential supplies to help mothers prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for their families.
In collaboration with UNICEF, the program also delivers educational campaigns on healthy nutrition and financial literacy training, empowering mothers with the knowledge and skills needed for a more secure future.
Each month, families receive support in the form of food boxes or FreeMart vouchers. The FreeMart Initiative allows mothers to replace fixed boxes with flexible vouchers that can be customized according to their families’ dietary needs. Together, these options supply at least 50% of the essential dietary requirements for a family consisting of a mother and three children, ensuring access to a balanced and nutritious diet.
